Far Western Rara Lake Ride

Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. Transfer to your Hotel; check in and freshen up and Dinner in Thamal. tomorrow we reach city of Lake call Pokhare.

Fly to Pokhara

After breakfast we fly to Pokhara International Airport, Pokhara, Transfer to your hotel; check in and we have short briefing and test ride our bikes around the Fewa lake and dinner in Lakeside.

Pokhara to Burtibang

After breakfast we have short meeting we begin our adventure. Today we passes through Kushma and Baglung, fallowing river valleys and remote villages. Baglung, the road becomes more narrow and rough, with gravel section, and off-road stretches leading toward Burtibang. Surrounded by deep gorges, waterfalls, and dramatic mountain scenery, this route offers a true Himalayans adventure ride.

Burtibang to Musikot

Burtibang acting as a gateway to Dhorppatan and Dolpa routes. Today we passes through remote hill roads, dene forests,and quiet mountain villages, with a mix of gravel tracks and rough off-road section, make it a true adventure ride and the day ends with an overnight stay at Musikot the headquarters of Rukum West.

Musikot to Chhinchu

We start riding from descends from remote hills into lower valley, passing rough mountain roads, forests, and isolated villages with mis of gravel, off-road, and some paved sections, with steep climbs, sharp bends, and river crossings along the way. As we approach Chhinchu, the road improves and connects to the Karnali Highway.

Chhinchu to Sattalla

Riding from Chhinchu we follows the Karnali Highway, climbing steadily through mountain roads, forest sections, and remote hill villages. today we see scenic ridgelines, deep valleys, and cool mountain air, toward Sattalla (Dailekh).

Sattalla to Jumla

Today we ride to 140 km to Jumla with dense forests, high ridges, and isolated villages with a mix gravel, rough off-road, and limited paved sections. As we approach Jumla, the landscape opens into wide valleys and alpine terrain. Jumla marks a key gateway to Rara Lake.

Jumla to Rara Lake

Toady we heading toward Rara Lake (Mugu). High-altitude mountain roads, passing forests, alpine meadows, and remote villages with narrow trails, and cold mountain weather. As we reach Rara, the scenery open to Nepal’s largest and most beautiful alpine lake, surrounded by pine forests.

Rara Lake (Explore day )

Today we spend a day at Rara Lake (2,990 m) enjoying the clean and deep blue water of lake often mirrors panoramic mountain views, pine forests, and alpine meadows. Walk around the lake, capture sunrise and sunset photos, and visit near by local villages. It’s a perfect mix of relaxation and high-altitude adventure in bike.

Rara Lake to Jumla

We ride 70 km thrilling high- altitude adventure on rough gravel trails and narrow mountain roads, descending through pine forests, villages, alpine meadows toward Jumla.

Jumla to Rakam Karnali

We ride toward full- throttle high-Himalayan adventure on narrow gravel trails, steep ridges, and wild river valleys, with off-road challenges, sharp bends, and dramatic mountain views. Along the way, we will pass remote villages, local Karnali communities, and glimpse traditional lifestyles, terraced fields, and cultural practices untouched modern life.

Rakam Karnali to Surkhet

After Rakam our route descends from the high mountains through steep ridges, narrow gravel trails, and river valleys, wit occasional paved patches as we appraoch Surkhet . we are rewarded with breathtaking Himalayan and hill vistas, glimpses of local life, terraced fields, and cultural settlements and over night stay in Surkhet.

Surkhet to Bhaluwang (Dang)

Toady we ride Bhaluwang (Dang) 177 km passes through hilly backroads, river valleys with a mix of paved highways, gravel sections, twisting climbs, sharp bends, and forested stretches, along with glimpses of local Tharu and hill communities, terraced fields, and traditional village life. Combines thrill, culture and scenic landscapes.

Bhaluwang to Tansen

After breakfast we today we go Tansen (Palpa) 140 km with climbs from the terai plains into the hills. Tansen, a historical hill town with Newari culture and panoramic mountain vistas with combining nature, culture, and hill-country thrills.

Tansen (Palpa) to Pokhara

After Historical place today we wil ride 125 km to back to Pokhara passing through twisting mountain roads, terraced villages, rivers, and forested ridges with some rough patches, sharp bends, and scenic viewpoints along the way. As we reach Pokhara, the landscape opens to lush valleys and the Annapurna range, make this all ride a perfect mix of adventure, culture, and Himalayan scenery.

Fly to Kathmandu

Today we wake up and get ready to fly back to Kathmandu, one of our team member will go with the group, help you with the boarding process and check you in back in Kathmandu Hotel, free evening and Guide for Shopping and Sightseeing in Kathmandu Monkey temple, Pashupatinath. Departure Dinner & Farewell.

Departure time we will have the group divided to go to the Airport, you will fly back home with another adventure checked in your Bucket List and unforgettable memories of journey, the mountains, and the adventure shared along the way and sure you will come back for more adventure ….
